hi ,
nice to meet you nice people. i have been lurking here for about 3 months. trying to understand terms. 993 section was very helpful. the wife owns a porsche parts store here in rancho cucamonga www.schnellautosports.com .
We finally found the right 1996 993 4s with 23k miles , we are the second owner. there are hardly any issues after going through the car. i hope to participate . i do have some experience with older models.
my plans are to find a newer ecu and get it flashed. so if someone has an extra 97 ecu please email me.

i can arrange both..but if you want a signed poster and they are free...we are planning to pitch a tent for the festival of speed. over in Fontucky! (fontana). its a PCA event. they well be most likely both be there..

my first oder of biz for the new red car...
1) install a battery matt.. under the battery! the kind that dissipate battery acid.
2) take out the under cover of the engine and tranny ...drive down to the steamer...cleane the under carriage.
3) tint (very light) the car..
4) clear bra the car
5) dyno the car
6)) search for a 97 eCu!
7) take the car to GIaC after the Ecu is found.
8) intall a new exhaust. to the car. (fabspeed, ?? car graphic?? no clue what is good.)
9) pss10 bilstien
10) swaybars. strut tower bar..
