A new clutch already at 29k miles? This car must have been driven around San Fran! 17" wheels were standard in 1998, the hollow spoke twists were an option. It appears that the head unit and speakers were all replaced at sometime. Good luck!

I'd agree. The head unit is aftermarket and the door speakers too.
The door speakers look to be Dynaudio, if so, the tweeter model MD102 does a require 2.5" hole saw cut of both the door steel and card, or any flush mount component for that matter.

My.02. A strong DE car & streetable car to boot...... what's not to like ! GLWS.

New clutch is a result of the owner returning the car to a more street-able ride for the wifey. The car was upgraded to a RS clutch package but removed it once the wife wanted to drive it. She had a hard time modulating the clutch pedal with the RS equipment for whatever reason...

more photos:

First pre-purchase inspection yielded good mechanicals, but the prospective buyer would like better cosmetics on the front end.

We chose to offer the car in it's original paint instead of refinishing the front end. It does show it's time on the track, but nothing that cannot be refinished if desired.

No, no way is this one still available. Should have held on to it longer...

Not quite sure it was this car that your dad may have owned.

Wow, interesting! I don't think I ever saw the yellow calipers on it. We had serviced it since about 10k miles in 2002...

Sold to RLister, not sure if he still has it or resold.
