Nice car!
For the record, the 993 C2S was equipped with 17 x 7 ET55 front and 17x9 ET55 rear wheels (with 25mm spacers on the rear) as standard equipment, and MANY cars were so equipped. Hollow spoke 18" "technology" wheels (option code 408) were an option (18 x 8 front and 18x 10 ET40 rear). The special "hyper silver" finish was exclusive to the Turbo S.

Sorry Lex, I'm gonna fight you on this one. I'm 99.9% positive that the 96-98 C2S came with the Hollow Spoke, Turbo S, Twist wheels.
With the exception of the air scoops on the fog lights and in front of the rear tire, the C2S and C4S look identical to the TURBO S, including wheels and Aerokit II.
The 993 Turbo had different wheels and aerokit.
My 97 C2S is on the factory 18" wheels that came with the car.

In other words, what Tim said.

Maybe the non-aero cars?

This car had the 18" wheel option. Those became his track wheels and have some Hoosier R6's mounted on them. Those wheels show some track use and have gone through a lot of tire changes. They will be made available separately from the sale.
The current 996 Turbo wheels are the nicer street set with good Michelin Sport Cups mounted up on them.

Would take nothing at all. It had some Sparco seats, harnesses, and a harness bar that have been removed. Stock seats have been reinstalled. This means the stock seats have very low usage and look the part!
The RS clutch and flywheel were removed so his wife could easily drive the car on the street. Clutch is less than 1000 miles old as a result...

there are many here that will tell you the distance is irrelevant...this from a guy who finally found his "one" 4 hours away. I always think about that Metallic Black/Chestnut C4S in Seattle...about as far from Central New York as you can get really. If I could have actually laid eyes on it...and trusted the P.O.S. dealer that had it...I should have bought it.
That being said, don't let distance seperate YOU from the ONE.
This may sound slightly pathetic but...next to father hood, owning my C4S brings me the most joy.

Rockies
Or if you live in the Rockies you can travel to the East Coast, West Coast, Texas, Canada or wherever you might find one of these great 993s.
Road trips are always fun, unless you run into snow and or salt/gravel.
