I have ordered the TRG. At the price, i figure i can't go wrong. if i don't like, I'll let all know. i'll post pics after the install. I just can't justify an extra 300 for Ruf or an extra 100 for PF.

IMHO we pay far too far much homage to Ruf, their parts and cars. I refuse to pay extra for the name when another part or manufacturer will work as well or better.

I'd be interested.

That's funny, but I'm just looking to purchase one and I came across this thread.

You can put me down for one ... matte black.

It's a bar...they all do the same thing. I'm really happy with my TRG bar.

I have one from http://www.klaindustries.net. Very low profile fits nicely under the carpet and it is adjustable for pre-load.

A quick update for those of you who expressed an interest in possible group buy, I'm looking into RL's rules about such things before proceeding. Don't want to run afoul of Bob the Owner!

Have received the TRG strut bar and installed. Nice looking very light.

Did not weigh, but feels less than 1 lb. Very light. Installation 10 minutes.

have not driven car, will drive in the AM to Kaffee Klatch. Fits perfectly, no problems.

Why pay any more?

Computer would not load pix. I'll look into.

You do not need. Got a wrench or socket set. You/re done. I'm serious less than 10 minutes.

I never underestimate my ability to mess something up.

Really just want to ID which bolts come out, also not 100% what the pre-load thing is all about.

Ahh,

There are towo bolts on each side on the front side of the car. Take them off. put brace on, re-install bolts. the bolts are the two on each side that are closest to the front of the car.

Adjust the brace so there is no tension. Very intuitive and easy, I think? pre-loading has to do with tension on the bar. Just adjust with no loading. I thought easy.
