In my opinion RUF is the absolute best strut brace for the 993
I researched the subject exhaustively back when I was in the market for my suspension
Best street performing (unless you're looking for multi adjustable for track car / race car)
Best fit and quality
Best non-obtrusive under the carpet
Lovely finish in matte black
I was planning on a post for the RUF strut brace and full pedal set-up so look for pics this weekend

I got my OEM 993RS brace from Steve at Rennsport, I don't remember the cost but it wasn't insane (at the time, that may have changed)... it fits under the carpet just fine (no pics)

I also bought the OEM 993RS from Sunset. It was $360 I think.

We have the 964/993 Cup strut brace on sale at 195 euro.
It's sourced from Heigo and 100% the same as the $$$ Porsche version.
The strut brace will fit under or over the carpet and can be fitted with the 92L fuel tank.

RUF conceals well, Power Perfect is a replica of RUF and also does a fine job.

Here is my RUF clone strut bar. It fits completely under the carpet.

Questions all. I use my car on the street & for DE and some autocross. Autocross is challenging with so much HP.

Is the Ruf brace worth $470 over the PP $275/ What's wrong with the TRG for $175?

Just wondering.

Anyone interested in a group buy on the Perfect Power bar? No idea if PP would do it, but I'll volunteer to look into it if there is enough initial interest.

No good can come out of group buys. Usually. Usually turns into a nightmare for the organizer. But I wish you the best.

Ben, that can be true. But I've had good experience organizing a group buy. There are a few things that really help make it a success:

The lower the price, the easier it is to go off smoothly.

A small number people required for discount helps a lot, and a decent sized discount.

Also it really makes it easier if the payment sent directly to manufacturer, instead of RL group buy organizer, and the item is sent directly from manufacturer to paid participant, rather than to the RL group buy organizer.
