Thumbs up FS: 964/993 Rear Seat Delete

964/993 Rear seat delete storage cubbies removed from a 1992 964 cabriolet. I was planning on recovering this in black (currently blue) but have too many projects at the moment. I will include all the bolts/screws from when I removed it. It's not perfect by any means and will look best if someone recovers it and repaints the bars. Figured I would try here before throwing it on eBay. $1,000

Will it fit a coupe? And is it indeed midnight blue? Looks back in the photos.

From my research the coupe and cabriolet version are identical with the exception of the storage bars on the ones in cabriolets.

It's definitely blue, my pictures weren't the best. I can email more picttures to anyone interested.

Don't think that is correct. According to this thread the cab and coupe versions are completely different. There is also a difference between 964 and 993 RSD's

There are a few differences, but they can be made to fit. More importantly, what is the color code of this RSD?

The Cab version will have indents for the top mechanism. Not sure how much since mine was originally out of an RSA. Waiting for this to go....

If it's midnight blue and will fit a coupe with little-to-no modification, count me as interested!

Glad to see my RSD investment has appreciated 40%... who says cars can't be investments? Now if we could just start a hedge fund buying rare Porsche parts...

You wouldn't believe how much I have squirreled away in the "junk parts" warehouse. And you wouldn't believe how much we threw away over the years.

Problem is, how do you differentiate what might be of use down the road (contrast that with what might be worth money), and what's just taking up space you have to pay for.

Unfortunately I never get there... I just tell myself I will sell it and make some $ but really just end up putting it on my car... the life of an addict.

Still available! From what I had read I was under the impression that the coupe/cab version were the same as several threads here suggested, but as posted above it seems that might not be the case and some modification is required so please do your research first.

Here is a picture I found from another member that has the same blue interior that this RSD came from, he said its called marine blue.
