Funny to see my old post bumped up! Here is the update on my 993/993 wheel front...
I sold my 993 in June to a a GREAT guy and have been shopping for a "new" 993. I LOVED my car but in my collection I had two other Guards Red Air-Cooled Porsche's (964 RSA, 88 3.2 Coupe w/ 8k miles) and while I like Red I couldn't stand having 3 of them. Luckily I have several other color cars, but now I am looking for the right 993. It has to be nearly perfect and an "interesting color". I am open on NB/WB. Hopefully before 993FEST I will have another 993 in the garage, otherwise I may have to drive one of the few 993's that are usually hanging around my shop. If anyone has one, let me know...
On the wheel front I sold all my 993 wheels with exception of the Fikse FM-10 and the BBS LM's. When the new 993 arrives I can't be rocking 17" Cups...
The good news is that now there are at least 5 Listers rocking nice wheels on their 993, hows that for helping the community!

Dude, you own one set of wheels (the ones that are on your car). Wanting to buy other wheels doesn't make you a wheel *****. Actually owning many sets of wheels makes you a wheel *****!!!!

I think Nurberger holds the current title as "wheel *****". Where are you Nick?
Sleepr- 18x11" et 64 ain't going to fit on a NB without some massaging in the back. Not that it can't be done, RichPugh has 11s et 63 with round-shouldered tires and aggressive neg camber to make his set up work.

Get rid of all the 18s...they do nothing for the car. For track keep a set of 17s. For street go with the original design of 16s. The car will be far more balanced and tossable...and less likely to suffer when hitting a pothole.
