Alright guys. As promised some video of the RC. Sorry for the poor quality, but hopefully it'll do. Rode it for the first time in quite a while. Felt good!!

We should take one of Alex's tours! Sad news about Kevin Ash; I've read him for years.

There is a downside to that Christian. Once you ride there, you'll be spoiled for life. My friend and his wife who I've been tour guide to since 2010 were warned. They're coming along for their fourth year.

The 999R and Foggy are mine. The rest belongs to my mechanic's clients.

Kevin, that is a lovely bike....I lusted after them years ago.

Now, I'm riding less and less. In all candor, too many cell phones and too much distraction among the other people out there. I find people notice me less and less on the bike. Its more scary out there than it has ever been, in my opinion. Not dragging pegs much at all any more.

A good friend and my motorcycle "dealer/pusher" riding another bike I'd love to own, but is way, way too much bike for me.

Mason is brutally honest about his own abilities and he's raced for years, but its some bike! It was the second day he had it on the track, I believe.

Default ducati 998s

That's a wonderful bike, its a LOT of bike as well. I'm not sure if you are saying you've not ridden before or if you are experienced and want that bike.

If experienced, it is a fantastic ride. It is fast and stable and beautiful to my eye.

If new to the game, get something else first. From personal experience, I can tell you that the ground is MUCH, MUCH harder than it was 30 years ago.

You'll get all kinds of advice, ranging from "buy what you want to ride eventually" to "get a starter bike". My best advice is get something fun, but not bursting with horsepower. Go do all the drivers courses you can and do something like this:

http://www.classrides.com/

Mr. Pridmore and the instructors will help you get much, much better and safer faster than you can do it yourself.

In a year or two you can get the Ducati or this:

/grin!

my best,

Mark
