Default RennFax in Ventura California and/or shop recommendation

I'm looking at buying a 993 in Ventura California and am wondering if there might be someone that lives in the area that could drop by and have a look at her for me? I'm also setting up a PPI and if you know of a good p car shop in the Ventura area I'd appreciate hearing from you on that too, thanks!

Jason Duarte at RS Enterprises in Ventura, CA is awesome.
Address: 249 South Laurel Street, Ventura, CA 93001
Phone805) 643-1041

or

Michael Schatz at MKS Performance in Camarillo, CA (15 minutes South of Ventura)
Address: 1221 Avenida Acaso Unit G, Camarillo, CA 93012
Phone: (805) 322-8077.

Both are very familiar with 993s, have the tools and proper diagnostic equipment, do excellent work, do the work themselves and do not charge an exorbitant amount.

I might be able to take a look for you today, but will be out of town Friday through Tuesday. PM if you are not in a hurry.

Good luck.

Thanks for the info! I have the PPI set scheduled at MKS on Tuesday. I did some reading here in Rennlist and seems Mike is well respected, so thanks for confirming that! I sent you a PM as well...

Smile +1 for MKS

Mike Schatz at MKS, Camarillo, CA is a renowned "wrench". He worked for Pete Zimmerman (The Used 911 Story) at Red Line Automotive in Santa Monica, then spent years as "wrench" at a Porsche dealer, later worked for another independent and now has his own business (MKS). He worked on my car at Red Line. For those in the business world, Mike is a 6 Sigma kind of guy, always working toward 0 defects.

I have recently taken a 2 1/2 hour drive to see Mike, to fix a complicated issue. He isolated the problem that others couldn't.
