I use a trickle charger regularly. No problems. Got mine at Sears over 10 years ago. And at least your light works.

Fine looking car and loved the backstory. Laughed at your comment about the color -- I kind of did the same thing only opposite -- was only looking for black and ended up buying Arctic Silver. Still like black also though! :-)
