Anyone considering buying a car from sean can have Rennwerke go down to Top Gear and do a PPI.
The issue is more about representation than actual condition. On this forum and elsewhere Top Gear has "earned" the reputation of over promising and under delivering. If I were advising Top Gear to improve their brand/image, I would recommend the following:

1. Create a company website which allows you to control your image and message. Their only retail "outlet" is ebay; fine for Buicks and Saabs; not so much for air cooled Porsches.
2. Be transparent and factual in your descriptions of these cars. Top Gear has a tendency to omit the bad stuff but highlight the good stuff.
3. Make a deal with Rennwerke or similiar well respected indy shop to inspect the car BEFORE selling it. Then post their findings (good and bad) for all to see. Think of it as a 3rd party independent report. Can't see it costing more than an hour or two of labor at $100-150 tops.

I agree with rg. Sean and I have also become very cool and met through a couple of successful transactions that few of my friends did with sean. Cars weren't perfect after ppi but sean made it right and my friends were very satisfied. Unfortunatley these stories don't get posted on these forums only the bad. As a matter of fact most stuff I read about TG here isnt from first hand experience. Sean is the only person I know of in this business that was selling 993s when they were brandnew and as a sales manager ordered a bunch himself for inventory, colors options etc. Personally I think TGs prices are very reasonable compared to all of the other dealer of aircooled porsches. As a matter fact because of seans strong network of dealers from being in the business so long they wholesales 50% of there cars so there is a good chance that some of you are driving cars that came from TG. Above poster also makes a great point.

Default Sudarshan “Sean” Rajan is a psychopath

Sudarshan “Sean” Rajan texted me at 4:40 AM California time. I had initially spoke to them last year about selling a car fast forward a little over one year and they are harassing me to sell my Porsche 964. Not once did the owner apologize for contacting me so early in the morning but instead got defensive and started using foul language with me. Funny how he called my car a piece of crap yet he wants it so bad. Calls me a nobody on top Hahahah!!! This guy seriously has some mental issues. He kept texting and calling me. Funny how if you google his name all you see are negatives such as law suits etc...

Of course I will defend myself when someone starts talking so much crap especially when you bring my mom into it haha. I apologize in advance for talking **** about the East Coast and saying the word ****** to anyone who takes offense to that. Funny how he calls my car a piece of crap yet he wants it so bad. See and hear for yourself...

I couldn't tell who was who. You both are using foul language & insulting mothers. Sounds like 2 high school kids.

I had some experience with Top Gear almost a year ago in my search for a 993. I can say without reservation that they are the most difficult company to try and work with. Emails are rarely if ever returned. Phone calls to multiple numbers go to voicemail and are NEVER returned. Cars that show as available and for sale on the website have been sold for months, yet the website still shows them as available. I would never trust doing business with this company.

I was the one without the "New York" accent. And yeah totally high school, but when someone keeps harassing you over and over and doesn't stop calling and texting you have to get down to their [redacted] bullying level to get them to Shut the F up and stop. Plus I wanted to show how much of an unprofessional ***** he is. I kept it professional until I realized it doesn't work with an uneducated person.
