Just curious, can 3-spoke carbon fiber steering's clear coat, be repaired? There are several steering wheels with cracked clearcoats, can these wheels be repaired and is it worthwhile?
Thanks in advance.

There is a company in California that is well-respected for repairing carbon fiber bikes. They might be able to help you out.

Fyi: Dallas steering wheels don't do carbon fiber repairs.

If I'm not mistaken, based on all the cracked steering wheels I've seen... you don't usually need carbon fiber repairs. What cracks is protective plastic/epoxy on top of carbon fiber.

Correct but I think the epoxy is integrated into the carbon fiber and may need to be completely replaced.

Not sure, but I'd think epoxy is a protective layer on top of carbon fiber. I'd actually be curious if it's carbon fiber or plastic underneath. But in either event, see what Polish company can do. Those of us who had their wheels re-covered by them tend to like them quite a lot. Last time I was communicating with them they were pushing carbon pretty hard, so I think they'd be able to help.
