In the past, we've gathered around 9:00 AM at a start point in Dahlonega or at the northern end of GA 400. I suggest the time remain 9:00 AM, opinions may vary on the start point.

Final meeting point at Home Depot in Dahlonega works out great. Some of us meet first at Starbucks at exit 13 last year which was great too for already driving together.

And I agree on meeting not later than 9am. Otherwise traffic gets up to much.

You beat me to it Terry. I am in. Say we meet Home Depot @ 9am in Dahlonega as usual. 8:15-8:30 at Exit 13 off 400 at Starbucks for those coming from points south. Crossing fingers that 348 aka Hogpen will be open.

Potential route attached>

Hey, Jim...Excellent route with a manageable length for folks needing to get back home mid/late afternoon....Looking forward to it.

I'm in!!

As a reminder.. Don't forget to fuel up before your first meeting point. In years past we've had confusion and delays as ppl were getting fueled up while we were running together.

Just saw this as I'm getting ready to head to the garage and adjust the valves, service the trans, and replace the brake pads on the 964. Guess I shouldn't lollygag if I want to make this run.

I would love this. I do a similar trip often so would enjoy it. See you at Starbucks at 8:30 as I'm coming out of Alpharetta.

Terry - Thanks for the heads up. We're out west for the holidays though.

The LMPP mod of several years ago never sounded better... Varooooooom.

Happy New Year to all -

Count me in as a first timer. BTW - do any of the wives/GFs join, or is this boys club?

We've had drivers and riders of both genders almost every year. Everyone is welcome.
