I just installed the griffiths evaporator and had a complete recharge, a few weeks ago, on a 80 degree day I measured a low vent temp of 37. I also have lightly tinted windows, on a black car with black interior.

Happy I went with the griffiths unit.

I went griffiths about 5 years ago. Still performing perfectly, and it haven't even had a service since...
White car, dark tint, Tampa. It cools like a modern car...almost...

During heat waves (humid 90s) in NYC I had no problem with the A/C.
