I think the coco mats look timeless, can't wait for my set to come in the mail. Sheepskin covers... I am sure they are comfortable and functional from a protection standpoint, but they remind me of my grandparents.

Love the coco mats on my benz. Highest quality, USA business. I used to use sheepskin on my car in the 80s when I didn't have a/c, but no desire now.

In general: Agree. But I started with Floyd mats that had coloured "Porsche Carrera" stitched into them - they were not cheap and although they looked amazing when delivered, within a short couple months the pile was flattened and they generally looked tired most of the time. I'd heard Coco could be harder wearing and when I looked they do some nice looking basic mats. Still not cheap though...
So I went to coco - hopefully for an improvement in wear resistance. These are the Nylon 6/6 versions I got and they feel tough as &^%$. If you want a cosy deep wool pile for your feet, these are not what you are looking for.You can see the hole for the factory securing post, Coco install a nice metal ring. The driver side has the rubber pad for heels. The passenger side is the same construction, just no heel rest. I've got about 3000 miles on these mats and they actually do look like they were delivered yesterday - I took this photo today:

Can you post pics of the hole and whatever they put in it? Chrissy sent me paper templates for my Range Rover as there were some variances she wanted to make sure it was correct. They really take pride in having fitment perfect. I can’t say enough good things about them.
These sketch dimensions are what I sent back to Coco and what they used to make mine with.

Will your driver side sketch work for all 993’s? And could I provide it to Cocomats for my order?

I've never heard of any difference in footwells between different 993 models, cant believe there would be any except maybe pedal area if tiptronic.

Of course feel free to send the above to Coco, they should have it on file anyway. Enjoy your purchase.

So while my 1995 model has a plastic post to secure the carpet to the floor, it’s not long enough to also secure the Cocomat. Womp womp.

Pardon the mess, the maid has been off duty due to the pandemic and I was never trained to use a vacuum.

Coco mats is asking what size gromet I want. What size are yours?

They fitted a 5/8" ID grommet. 1/2" would have worked, obviously 5/8" gives a little more wiggle room.

Received and installed mine today. No grommet. The mats are heavy and fit perfectly so I don’t see them moving around even without a grommet.

They’re pretty thick, too. Thankfully I’m not Shaq so it’s not an issue.

The driver’s side mat is right up against the pedal cluster. I hope this won’t be a problem.

I wish they went a little further into the pedal area: I have a lovely section of quality hardboard showing... I'll be fixing that sometime.

Mine is the opposite; the mat extends a little over. I’ll take a better picture at another time.

Received mine in the mail today as well. Black/grey for a black interior. These things are SOLID. Love the look. Very impressed.
