Default Update on my '97 4S

Guys, just a quick update on the '97 4S I put up for sale on Rennlist a few months ago. I sold the car to a very nice young man, his first Porsche. Always great to see someone joining the Porsche family. Great transaction!

I planned to move to an early 911, but ended up in a completely different direction. Took delivery yesterday of a '13 Lamborghini LP 550-2. Hope to see you guys on the road!

Thanks to all for your kind words during the sale of the 4S!

Have a blessed Thanksgiving.

All the best,
Scott

WOW! Nice car. I just might get rid of my C4S for one of those if I could afford it!

Thanks guys!

"Great color and nice wheels.......they will see you coming where ever you go!! Cool......"

I've always been a silver car guy, but when I saw the blue (Blu Caelum) in person (pictures didn't do it justice) thought it is gorgeous.

"will it be a daily driver? im curious how different it is in usability\maintenance, etc"

Weekend only. In manual corse mode, dives like a wild bull! Sport mode is awesome! In auto, drives as civil as my Lexus. Maintenance looks to be quite reasonable, first service is at 9k. Sounds like when you have to replace the clutch will be a serious dent in my scotch and cigar budget

"That's one pretty Audi"

Indeed! You can definitely see the German influence. Part of what turned me on, as I was also considering a Ferrari 458 Italia.

"6 speed or e-gear?"

e-gear.

Here's a close up of one of the front Cordelia wheels.

Those wheels look like Fikse or CCW made them.

Mark, that's a good point. I'll ask and find out.

Per the video below, Murcielago LP670-4 SV wheels, are made by Alcoa in Ohio.

Quadcammer, forgot to ask. How'd you guys fair with Sandy?
