Default New Cayman

This is a picture taken by my friends Brian Makse of the new Cayman. I like it!

proportions look weird. The new boxster looks pretty nice overall, so it's strange if they messed up the cayman.

Looks like a mini Panamera if you ask me. This will take some time to get used to . . .

I think the headlight and taillight "camo" is throwing everyone off..Let's not
forget this is a Boxster with a roof. It's most interesting to see the new Cpillar
window "kick-back"...

Can't wait to see this car when it officially debuts in LA!

Agree with Akerlie, it has something Panameraesque to it. Like it, though.

Looks like there is camo on the rear window too.

If it follows the Boxster, I think it will be great once we finally see it.

It sure looks they are positioning to have the Cayman/Boxster be the sports cars of the line-up, while moving the 911 up to a GT.

Yup. They purposefully don't reveal every detail until the last moment. I am not saying this is not essentially the final car, but when you see these types of photos, make sure to look closely before passing judgment.

That is what I have been thinking, as well. I think it will be a very slow, gradual transition so as to not anger the 911 faithful. I wonder if/when the Cayman RSR will supplant the 911 RSR?

It is interesting how the shape appears to be a bit more shooting brake-esque.
