I think you can skip the grinder also. Just bring the beer. Take a peek at this Nascar racer with "aerodynamic fences" on the roof. Not quite rain gutters... but you get my point.

Yes, I love that clean look also. It is a HUGE job, since the roof is "folded" into the sides in the gutters. You can't just grind them off... you grind a couple of inches and then weld. Rinse and repeat. And repeat. Much of the interior must be removed. So, that's the reason I like to think that my gutters serve a functional purpose (since Rufus is rarely driven in the rain). Again... no disabusing me of my fantasies.

The nascar fences are there to keep the car from flipping over when it gets sideways at 150+ mph. Those and the air flaps stopped many of the blow overs.. I don't think they are there to help top speeds.
