Default Supercharger woes fixed! + AFR gauge

After 2 years of trying to figure out why my 993 would randomly not start or start sputtering in the rain or after the carwash, we found the culprit...

A messed up TPC control unit (Split Second box) that was always exposed to the elements because it was installed in the engine bay.

Thanks to a fellow Rennlister from Australia who shipped me a Unichip system that was installed by the ECU, a new intake manifold with 2 injectors, The car now runs beautifully!

Plus I added an AFR gauge where the clock used to be. I'm starting to fall in love again!

Love the way your Air/fuel gauge is look. Great job. Do you have any Dyno number for your car?

That's next. I'm looking for a place that has a dyno for AWD.

Thanks Ken, I really appreciate your help. The tuning is actually real done well!

I'm cautiously pushing it and seems to be a nice linear power curve. The Split sec box made it feel more like turbo where it didn't really kick in until about 3800 rpm.

I'll keep you posted.

Where did you source the intercooler or did you have it fabricated??

Did you add the 2nd injector to the manifold (it comes with one, correct?)

thanks, looking forward to your dyno results

The IC was fabricated although the core was sourced. The air volume calculations and design were done by Euroquipe in St.Charles, IL. If you are interested I can try to get details on it.

Sachin,
Good to hear that you setup is working well and Euroquipe is doing the work.
They did my install after I saw yours. That was about six years ago. By the way, I had my 993 at the 2010 Porsche Parade at St. Charles. I even won a concours first place in modified street touring.
I too am interested in your inter-cooler. Right now my engine is out getting freshened up.
As always, the work you have done is top notch!!!!
I now live in FL, so I don't think I will be driving north anytime soon.
Take care,
George B.
