Awesome character. I've always wanted to live in a place like that. At some point I was actually looking for a big building where to put some sort of Porsche/Hot Rod/Bikes/everything cool shop & cathering place and live upstairs but places here where you can do that are wayyy too hazy, especially with kids.

Wife knows that once the kids are out of the house...

Very well done film.

I actually really like the floors. Not sure I'm hip enough for such a space (ok definitely not), but still way cool.

Very cool video. Thank for posting it. I have always wanted an early 911, or even better, a well done outlaw like Magnus'.

Very cool! Thanks 4 sharing...
When I used to work in L.A. That area I've been to few times and its not the safest area but there were lots of empty warehouses that people used to live and rent out for studio so forth.
After watching this i want 1)go to Malibu Canyon and 2)go buy a early 70's 911 and do what he did to it.

I was hoping it would be 2 hours long. I was a little disappointed. I love the sound of the old air-cooled engines. I guess I need to sell my 993 and buy one.

I don't get why this apparently relatively wealthy fellow insists on looking like a bum. But he appears to be more authentic that those Harley Davidson riders (posers) he met in one scene.

Why not?
Because society thinks when you have money, you need to wear a suit?

Wow. Maybe I'm just accustomed to living in Southern California, but in my world wealth and appearance have very little correlation. In my experience of socal, everyone dresses intentionally casually, i.e. wearing a tie is considered a bit of a social gaffe around here although blazers seem to be acceptable. I've never seen our CEO in a tie, for example.

You are pointing to a vast gulf between your cultural expectations and my own.

Very cool movie. I live right around the corner from him. Its a very industrial area of downtown LA that is pretty barren especially at night, but perfect for speeding around in your 911 because theres little traffic.

Singer, who? Great to see a fellow Brit carving out a niche in what is essentially the center of the world for aircooled 911's. Clearly a man with a vision and the means to make it a reality.

Not sure H&S are a top priority, what with dreads dangling around air wrenches. None the less.. kudos

I was disappointed too. The guy is certainly legit; talented, creative and passionate and he delivers the goods. Great visuals and sound in the movie but why spend several minutes on the door strap fabrication without showing the finished product? I'm such a fan of those cars I'd watch the directors cut...

The sound @ 23:15(ish) gives me goose bumps.

Love the quick cruises around the city.......even if they're damn near impossible anymore. 3am on a warm August night, deserted downtown industrial area, windows down, your favourite tunes playing in the background, and a wailing flat-6......HEAVEN.
