Congrats Michael ! That truly is a unique car.

Just curious if it went to a R-lister ?

I hope you are correct but there is a big difference of increasing values between extremely rare cars like this one (which I consider a one-off collector item) to my C2S with 33K miles. To test my theory I will take almost half the amount for mine that this car sold for. $56K from anyone here and it's all yours.

But anyone who owns a 993 should appreciate the impact this has the market. Can you forsee a worse economic future (than what we are experiencing now) which would put a bunch of 993's on the open market and drive pricing down?

I get the whole..."don't buy it as an investment" thing. That isn't my point. I guess my point is that I believe that a bunch of folks on this board probably paid <$25K for narrow bodied 993's 4-5 years ago and have had enjoyed every minute of countless hours behind the wheel and (if they chose) could sell it for more than they paid for it.

How many brands/models of cars can you cite that you could have bought 5 years ago....drove the pi$$ out of it........and at a minimum could sell it for what you paid for it.

Maybe for high mileage beaters. Lower mileage, cosmetically perfect examples would have been selling for well north of $30K even back then.

Rudy,
Yes, your photoshoot has kept me up at night scanning ebay, cars.com, etc.

Incredible ! That's a tidy collection. Does this guy actually find time to drive them or is he a bubble wrapper ?
