Yes changing the bars is OK without doing an alignment. The fasteners involved in maintaining alignment are not unfastened in the procedure.

Thanks. Can I also reuse front and rear stock drop links when upgrading to M030 ARBs?

Thinking that I would upgrade the suspension step by step and be smart about it..

Sorry about digging up an old thread. My search didn't quite reveal what I was looking for.

Situation: I have a 97 993 NB coupe in which the prior owner upgraded the suspension to m030 kit from Gert (struts, springs, front and rear ARB). As far as I can tell the car handles just fine, but being curious about what may be "better" and based upon the above recommendations about pairing up the M030 front ARB and 21mm Euro turbo rear ARB, I decided to purchase a used Euro Turbo Rear ARB from another rennlister. However, I need to source a set of the 21mm bushings for mounting.

I came across a listed part number for the 21 mm rear bushing as: 477 411 313 D. However, when I search Pelican Parts and Sunset I get a part number of 477 411 313 M as available. On another website, autohausaz, I see the "D" version, however it's fitment guide suggests it won't fit my car.

In order to settle the issue, I tried looking at the Porsche parts catalog to settle the issue, but I don't even see a "D" or "M" version listed, I see "A" - for 16 mm bar, "B" - for 18 mm bar, "N" for 18 mm bar and "C" for 20mm bar. Nothing listed for a 21 mm bar.

Maybe I'm overthinking things. Here are my questions:
1) Is there a difference between the 477 411 313 "D" and "M" part numbers?
2) Alternatively, anyone have a set of 21 mm rear bushings that are known to fit the euro turbo ARB that they'd like to part with?

Thanks!
