Haven't logged in here much lately as my car's been in the shop for a while getting fixed again but seeing your pics reminds me that it's important to bring it back up to snuff. We own a masterpiece of design. Not many 15 year old cars look as hot and "not dated" as our 993's.

What other colors did you look at before you found this one?

When you first saw this car did you think - "must have!!!"? Or did you worry about the maintenance on cleaning a dark, black car since it shows much of the pollen/dirt/dust faster than lighter colors?

Well I own a black 996 that has been a pain to keep clean but I just love black cars. And the metallic black just looks unique and cool with the 993 lines. I test drove a few diff colors. At the end of the day, this color just spoke to me.

Awww hells yea man, congrats and welcome aboard the airkooled club.
Be safe, and have fun. I love going through the gears, its pure delight.
May I suggest the SSK and goldenrod setup (i luv mine), tightens up the shifter and
the throw becomes very precise and accurate.
Enjoy

I'll check out the SSk and goldenrod setup. And to who was asking about month of build, it says 12/97. Now to go out and drive.
