Alignment trouble
In the last few months been having trouble keeping my car aligned, CW bushings a couple of years ago, new HD shocks , tie rods and ball joints this summer .After an fresh alignment I can drive a wonderful car for a few miles and than I feel the ride deteriorate to the point that I return to have it put back on the machine and it is showing that the camber or toe are out...tighten everything again , placed back in spec and .... the same .. this last time after a more thorough look we removed the boot on the tie rod and noticed that the steering rack output shaft where the tie rod joins the steering rack that there was a great deal of movement going vertically...The rack is leak free but will replace it as my mechanic believes this is the problem.Suspension problems are difficult to pinpoint but does this make sense to you, Thanks
