Smile Hacking a Thread

Being new to Forums. What is considered Hacking someones thread. Example: As long as your staying on the same subject it's o/k? But as like humour you stray off the beaten path a little and add your content? I'm aware that most off you, will find this question obvious, but i guess I'm just looking for some guidance.
Also, are most of you forgiving, when answering a post,if someone does,or doesn't quote original message in it? Still learning.
Thanks in advance to all.

The term more commonly used is "hijacking," rather than "hacking."

Also, it's not necessary to quote the original post....there's usually a flow of responses that's easy to follow. Now imagine if everyone quoted the original post, and how that would clutter up the thread.

And by the way, welcome to the 993 Forum - it's always nice to see new visitors/participants.

I have found that they are more forgiving of "hijacking" than a post without pictures.

Seriously, people need to lighten up regarding "thread-jacking". After all, it is a "bump" that keeps it on top.

Be yourself here. Don't be an ******* here. If you yourself are an *******, don't be here.

That's about it for the 993 part of Rennlist. Show that you are able to bring something interesting or fun here and are willing to learn and you'll fit right in.

Oh, and clean your ISV.
