I changed out my belts..... But every so often I get a misfire, then in about a day it shuts off again

I have to say that the belt replacement idea could be worth a thousand dollars...I mean words!. I love this car and want to get the CEL fixed so I can continue loving it.

I started this thread and got some great ideas. I had the belts changed to POrsche brand and the pully for the alternator replaced (this came from a Porsche "tech letter" per my mechanic). It's been 100 miles with no CEL! this is a record for the last 2 years. And the idea came from the friendly Rennlist users. My mechanic is flabergasted...and happy for me.
