Default yellow calipers ?

Hey guys, I'm on a new search for a 993. I've been hanging around here trying to pick up a few bits of info and I have questions. I found the following somewhere on the web and I'm not sure what to make of the yellow calipers. I know this means ceramic on a 996/997 but do not know of this option on a 993. I like white and this car seems OK except for the '6 owner' carfax and the price. I'm not really interested except for the fact that it's sorta near me. It means someone has painted the standard black calipers. turbo (& 4S) have a yellow caliper option, standard on the turbo S

It was also a special option for the 993 which you could order from factory.

Just saw that this car is listed from Intersport. I did business with them and lost big time. Be very careful and don't trust them at all if you do business with them.

The ad doesn't even state the mileage on the car.

I guess the previous owner liked the 993 Turbo S and re-painted them yellow. Carbon trim is also a Turbo S standard. Nicely optioned C2S but some options were done rapidly (ex: only front seatbelts replaced). If you get further, the spoiler grill wall need to be replaced (you see trough). Thoses exhaust tips are not my taste neither.

thanks for the heads-up tropheus, I've heard that before, and really, this is just one more reason that we are all here on r.list.

I think I've seen a tach like that before but not the speedo or oil temp with numbers on it.

you can check all the otion codes which they show in the sticker under the hood in one of there pictures. Than you know somehow what was done afterwards to the car. Often the code just says special program which could mean a lot.
