Default High pitched whine when releasing clutch in first

I'm not sure that I'm describing the noise properly, but I hear a high pitched squeak/whine when releasing the clutch going from neutral to first. The noise is not very loud and sounds somewhat like a squeaking brake. It only happens when when the clutch is slowly released/modulated to move forward at a very slow speed (3-5 mph). I noticed this today when pulling the car into my garage. If I go from neutral to first at normal speeds, I don't hear this noise.

The clutch engages fine and I'm able to select any gear without any problems. Any idea what might be happening? Could it be clutch related or is it likely something else? The clutch was replaced about 30K miles ago.

Without knowing your application, sounds like the beginning issue of a TOB, to me.

Sound-wise that would make sense. I'll have the shop check it out.

Other ideas are still welcome!
