Bilstein HD Interference?
I noticed last weekend the scrape on the sub-frame (see picture). It seems to line up with the drop link mount on the HD shock. The H&R and HD have been installed by the PO quite some time ago, but the scrape looks fresh. Does anyone have experience with this? Could this happen if the camber is way off? Thanks in advance for your help!

Check/feel for corresponding witness marks or chipped off paint on the spring, should answer your question rather quickly.
As for the other question; isn't camber adjusted on the UCA? Been a while since I was under the car (these things are too damn reliable!), but if that's the case, then it shouldn't be from camber. How do your upper mounts look? Maybe something abnormal is going on up there..

Hi
I would make sure that the spring has not come out of its seat(s). With aftermarket suspensions and shorter springs they can do that when the car is hoisted up and the suspension is at full droop.

The drop link mounts should be perpendicular to the center line of the car, wheels on the ground. The scrape/gouge certainly looks like interference with the mount.

A little test
Put some white grease on the link. Drive the car around and see if any transfers to the spot. The marks may be old from the previous suspension as it sagged??
