anybody have experience with a fix-it window tint ticket in CA?

Good ol placer county. It's been awhile but I can't imagine the front two windows being very expensive to re-tint. Possibly not worth the fine you'd have to pay to be able to keep them tinted.

I agree. Besides this way you have new tint on the windows that will look better.
