Tony, thanks for the links!
Matt, you little bitch! Enjoy Spa and you'll have to tell me all about it!! BTW, I'm trying to arrange renting an apartment along JFK Blvd. for the NJ race next year, I'll keep you posted.. Screw the bleachers, hehe!
Speaking of which, we have general admission tickets for the Baltimore race. It's the first time attending, so I just wanted to get the lay of the land. I like walking around the track during the race and hope that there will be a few good places to watch it from.
Regarding parking, what are the options? Generally Porscheplatz is free to PCA members/Porsche owners at least that's been my experience at Lime Rock. Any news on that front?
Thanks so much!

I go through part of the BGP course on the way to work each morning. At the end of last week they put up the walls and fencing. Very cool to drive through. I'm a few blocks away from where the Porsche Platz will be located. Last year the Indy transporters started to show up and park in an empty lot a week prior. Can't wait for the Labor Day weekend.

Well, I had a blast! Bob in NY and I drove down yesterday morning and had a really awesome time! Met Arrwin and Geneva at the track as well.
The race was phenomenal, the organization was top notch, everything was better than expected! Listening to 30 engines at WOT pass by you on Pratt street at speeds approaching 200MPH was unbelievable. I know street circuits are not the drivers' favorites but from a spectator standpoint it was an amazing experience. Definitely coming back again next year!!
Here's some pictures:
If this racing thing doesn't work out these two have a bright future in stand up comedy. They make quite a team!
New Viper ALMS:
Indy Lights Start:
...and an abrupt end for some:
Pre-race grid walk...
Pat Long:
The winning GT car - second time in a row!
Updating FB profile before winning the race...
Well, hello to you too!
Let's race!
And finally, Porsche AG CEO Matthias Müller was at Porscheplatz and signed my car
