But even with stockers, the car looks "proper". Well done. I see a "lowered thread" coming up....post photos of your front chin next to a tape measure. I think I am at 3.5" with Aero front.

There's this whole new(ish) fad among the kids called "stance". The cars are slammed to the ground similar to this poor Audi and without any regard to being able to be driven.

Worse than that (can it really get worse?) is the other part of the same genius movement. It's called "stretch". Take the widest possible wheel and put the narrowest possible tire on it. We are talking about 9" wheel with 175 width tires. I can't imagine anyone with an actual working brain doing this, but it's being done left and right. The original idea was to have the tire tuck under the fender on a slammed "stance" car at an ungodly camber. Narrower tire would rub the fender less than a proper wide one. Now it's the look

Musing on social movements of fringe groups can be fun. I wish no cars were harmed in creating this lunatic contraptions. But as you can see it's not the case here. On a side note, you can see where Rousch-Welt (sp?) gets some of his inspiration.

Wow thats awful. That was the exact look I DIDN'T want to achieve.

Thanks for all the comments, glad to hear the ride height is perfect and that the car doesn't have the "Stance" look to it.

OK, yet another word in the modern lexicon denoting their youth and my age

This "stanced" business is today's version of yesterday's "slammed" ...though this Audi apparently takes the original concept even further. Yet another fad with the shelf-life of warm milk on a summer's day. Remember spinners?

You guys are missing the most important part of that ad. It's not the pictures. It's this almost devine haiku-like thought, brilliant in its simplicity:

Due to extreme fitment lol
Rear Fenders do show damage.
They would need re-rolled and painted to repair
Pay the Price to look good I suppose..
