Looks awesome, Jakob. The ride height adds that final touch of completion.

Anyway, im looking forward to some more pix and have fun playing around with the dampening. I'm at 4frt and 8rr. Not far from my house there are some killer freshly paved country roads, basically a 993 playground..

hahaa ~sander
Sander -- Thanks for the comments on the wheels! I love them too! Actually,
I instructed my powdercoating shop to do a dark silver like the 996TTS. I
even chose a paint chip I felt was really close. A "miscommunication" led to
this gunmetal/bronze look! But it was truly meant to be, I love how it
compliments black on cashmere..flows so well!

I'll post more pics..actually we shot the whole thing, so stay tuned for a
video sometime soon.. I'll try out your dampening suggestion! Thanks!!

I arrive Aug. 2nd and should be around for this...
Thanks Cam! The meet is at Chapters rear parking lot across Queensway
from Sherway Gardens Mall..It always starts at 10am until people get bored
(1pm-ish).. I'm taking off to the cottage this weekend, so I'm missing it this
4th. Are you around for the following Sat Aug 11th?? Also, I get together with a few guys in
Oakville on Thursday evenings for some cruising! If you're around (Aug 9) maybe you
can ride shotgun?

You will wonder why you waited so long installing!! no more SUV 993!

phil.
Phil, no doubt!! Thanks for the setting heads up..I might just dial down to
5/6 and see how the car behaves..Bigger fish to fry at the moment; need to
book myself in for an alignment.

Any chance your cottage is up near Gravenhurst? I too will be at the cottage from the 2nd until the 8th I believe...I'll double check.

NICE pics!

maybe it is the angle of the photo, but the camber on the rear tires looks strange to me in the 3rd photo. looks like it might even be "+"

also, you have a HUGE "B"!

out in Pointe au Baril just outside of Perry Sound. Decided against bringing
the C4S on this trip. Keep me posted about the following week..

Quite possibly, the car is still in need of an alignment and corner balance.
The current settings were perfect for the stock Jeep height..probably out of
wack now that it's basically laying on the ground..LOL

YEP! B for boman993!!

Jakob,

Do you actually feel a click at each setting on the shocks? I have PSS-9 on my C2S and have always found that adjustment was like guess-work. The "click" is almost imperceptible.

I've had PSS9s before on my 987 and it didn't have the numbers to reference your adjustment, also did feel like guess work too.

PSS10s on my 993 and yes the clicks seem to be much more precise and distinguishable.

Jakob - Car looks sweet. Also try these setting too (F: 6 / R: 4) +1 or so if you want a tad stiffer. My local racing shop set this up for me with my last alignment, seems to work very well, even though I noticed most here have the opposite.

Thanks Nick!! And, yes man, we totally have to hang out and talk 993s! One

Richard, Yes, there is a definite "click" when you turn the ***** through the settings
on my 10s. Maybe your 9s wore out?!

What's funny is Bilstein's positioning of the adjustment marker (the red dot)
on the rear shocks! There's no way you could ever see the position without
using a small mirror or iphone camera on "facetime"...Someone wasn't
thinking that day in the R/D department.

Jakob,

I doubt that anything has worn out. Mine never had an adjustment (red dot) marker. And, never had anything more than faint, almost impercetible "clicks". It was easier when I did some track events. I just cranked them to full firm, which is also weird as that is #1 on mine and full soft is #9. Very counter intuitive.

TIP: Loose\rotating end link mount points.. i used a sharpie to mark where they are installed... so i can tell if something is moving everytime i take off a wheel.
