Thought you'd never ask! When's the next hug?

Possibly the rarest and/or most valuable from Robert's collection:
only one version of this Porsche with its transporter was made ... & you're lookin' at it

You left out what's even more significant:
The magic inside the Japanese-built Porsche 617 ... shot glasses, etc!

I especially like the hand-made wood sculpture cars, custom-carved for Robert

I already revered this GT1, but it's officially my favorite 993 of the moment...
- Originally professionally raced by a Porsche factory driver who's a RLer & been an incredible friend year after year
- I got to spend time with the GT1 & its owner at this month's PCA Parade. Even though I needed to be cleaning my own car for the Concours, I immediately walked up to the owner like a moth to the flame, helpless but to tell him how in awe I was. Even more fun was when we looked at each other & exclaimed, "Wait, I know you!" ...we met at 2011's Dana Point, CA, 356 Club's Concours, before he bought the GT1.
Great dude; genuinely enjoyable 993 enthusiast.

Speaking of reverence ^^ Robert must hold this GT1 in similar esteem, as it's literally at the top of his showcase

It's also in the top of the show case because it was my team owners car at the time and I had to brush by it every single morning as I made my way into the office. I know that car well.
What's in the cases in the great room are the models we are choosing to keep and will not be for sale. Janis' cookie jar isn't particularly collectable (yet), but it is one of my favorites so it stays. Far is fair.

You've certainly noticed the incredible Porsche posters decorating RJT's garage.
Another fun moment at this month's PCA Parade with someone I previously met at a Dana Point, CA, Porsche event:
As he casually photographed my 993 this month in UT, I looked up to see someone I faintly recognized, but a bit nondescript as he blended into the crowd. While I was still trying to place who he was, I was surprised to hear myself say, "Jeff?"
...He seemed just as surprised to be recognized.
Always fun to talk to the always humble, & über-skilled Pikes Peak Hill Climb champion, Jeff Zwart!
In addition to racing skill, I respect his artistic eye & filming talent at making some of the industry's best car commercials (including Porsche's).
He said that due to last month's Colorado Springs wildfires delaying this year's Pikes Peak competition, he'll be in Europe during the re-scheduled race to the heavens:
He's already committed to filming a commercial then, at the UK's historied Silverstone cicuit.
Want more Zwart? Click on the "Porsches on Pikes Peak: Int'l Hill Climb" thread.

I'd post up a picture of the signed model of the car, but we already sold it..... I just asked Robert, and he said it's gone. I didn't think we were selling that one. I hope it went to a wonderful home.

You guys are amazing! ...& your car collection's not bad
^^ I've looked for photographs of Jeff's Hill Climb 993s, & found it more difficult then expected to find many good web-based images.
That's a seriously cool model, even down to the off-road terrain base. Then, adding Jeff's signature = WOW status for me
Crazy cool to a Zwart groupie like me.
