The Chicago PCA region had its 55th annual potters picnic today. Great event. Seven 993's came to the party. So many great cars. I was very happy with my 993 placing in the Concours. Hope everyone was out driving today!

You had a great day for it. I missed it but it's an event I try to take in every year. The German beer makes it even better. Looks like we have similar taste in our cars. Where do you live?

the German beer goes down to well. Was a fun afternoon. Great to see another GP white car in the area. I am in the La Grange/Hinsdale area. My interior is blue/grey. Hope to see you at an event soon. Cheers.

Always up for a drive. Looks like we are Chicago, Woodstock, Aurora and Western Springs....so far. Any suggestions out there for a fun morning drive. Something with some bends. Hope you had fun out there John. Never knew there were 3 GP white 993's in the area.

Actually 4 at least - another Rennlister, Van Larson, in St. Charles, also has a white one too.

I would probably bring the C2S which is arena red. Bill (No HTwo O) has an AR 993TT and he lives in Arlington Heights. I bet he would be up for a drive as well. Another friend (sadly not an RL'er no matter how much I tell him he is missing the boat) has a Guards Red 993TT and he would probably go as well.

I'm out in Oswego. Might be a little difficult for me to get time out for the next couple of months (new baby coming), but definitely interested in a fun run.

I missed the picnic, decide on Saturday morning to go to Munich for the weekend. Just got back a couple hours ago. Saw lots of Porsches over there. Even went to the local dealership. Very large place.
