Default OT: Anybody else having trouble with Rennlist forums auto login?

Hi All,

In the past, I was automatically logged in to Rennlist upon each visit to the URL. About a week or two ago, I was asked to login. Ever since, despite checking the "remember me" box, I am asked to log in each time I come to the site. Is anybody else experiencing this?

nope.
Sounds like your browser is not keeping the cookies for RL. Do you have this behavior with any other sites? Did the browser somehow get set to throw away cookies each time it is closed??? Check thru the settings...

A computer crash could also cause you to lose your cookies...

If you're running a mac, make sure "private browsing" is turned off. You can find it in the "Safari" pull down. Not sure what the PC equivalent is.

Well, I'm getting the same issue now, on my PC, iPad and iPhone. Something is wrong in RLville.

My laptop and my iPhone both asked me to login yesterday. Laptop is running Firefox, iPhone is Safari. No other issues today.

My PC, iPad and Blackberry all work fine. If you haven't seen it, expect to be asked to change your password if you haven't done so in the last 180 days.

I would've said the same thing 18 hours ago.

Ed, I log in about a dozen times a day including 15 mins ago. No issues. I have seen the problem when my browser software was updated, have you checked the settings? I also suppose you've cleared cash and cookies and then logged in again?

yeah, it can't find the cookies with my info on any of my three computers. This started about three or four days ago, here too. Firefox 13.xx version on a couple of them, and an earlier firefox on the last.

Bob, as the op stated, he suddenly had an issue. Mark had it yesterday. I, today on three different devices with two different operating systems-no changes to my settings or upgrades. I can't imagine more of a smoking gun that something may be going on with RL?

My home and work computers started the same behavior yesterday. All running Firefox browsers with one computer having Firefox on Linux Fedora 16.
