Default Best feature of my modified muffler

Short story long: When I purchased my c4s, it came with several mods, some of which I liked but would not have paid for myself. One was an S-Car-Go muffler and 200 cell cats. I love(d) the sound but simply am too cheap to have paid real American dollars for something so unnecessary. After about a week, I realized that a modified muffler was well worth the cost and my own cheap nature would have deprived me of one of the biggest pleasures I get out of driving my 993 (especially around town).

Well, the best feature of the modified muffler was not immediately apparent -- although there are many good features. One of the good ones, for instance, is that (because of the sound) the car is a little too "boy racer" for my wife, so she is content driving her wagon and hardly ever suggests we trade cars for the day. Another is that all the girls walking down the street that are impressed by a boy racer sounding car look over (until they see me, that is). Obviously, the purposeful growl the car makes is a big plus.

But the best feature is that as I drive through the parking garage at work all the cars with motion detectors connected to their alarms start going off, simply because of the rumble from me driving by. It's asa if the other cars are saluting the 993 as it passes....

Maybe Fister should make bumper stickers that say something like that, sort of like people who have "I brake for ------" bumper stickers.

+1 My Fister Stage II's in second gear under a bridge is simply amazing sound wise. i was lucky enough to buy the car with them already installed but I am positive it would have been one of my first out of pocket mods if they were not already on the vehicle!

Watch-out for the po po after stage 3 install. You'll want to hear the snap, crackle, and pop everytime you drive

I have the Stage II's and really like them, but I think you will find you will hear your exhaust more, not your motor.

Quite a bit of the induction howl you hear w/ a drilled airbox cover is lost due to the increased volume of the exhaust sound.

Not unhappy here, but just sayin' . . .
