Ditto. Easy mod to bypass the airbag sensors can be found on othe threads here.

Removing an airbag here in NZ creates a major beuaraucratic paperwork nightmare so will pass. It was going pretty cheap though ($80 US).

That wheel is the correct fitment for a 993RS which came without airbags as standard. airbags were an option on the M002 version of the RS and if you specified them you reverted to the standard steering wheel and glovebox of the C2/4. There were no attractive sporting options with airbags for the 993.

The best option is probably to fit the 3 spoke sports wheel (with airbag) from the 996, which has similar grips to the 993 wheel pictured.
