So much work and very impressive at that! You should be commended; can't wait for more pictures - great thread.

Thx, everyone,

thx Pelican parts, i have used your DIY threads and they were realy usefull.

The roof is fixed, funny was that that i found two "ecus" for the roof motors. the one was still in its oem place, and the other was hanging in the wires.

the one had problem with cold soldering, fixed it easy. the other i even did not open.

no the roof works fine and the car is getting more or less ready.

I have question for your opinion.

wich rear badge should i choose?

it came with a turbo badge, (i dont want that as it does not have a turbo)

1. can i put a carrera S badge?
( i think its not much different form carrera S , exept the roof, and manual gearbox.)

2. or just a normal carrera badge?

as without the badge it looks naked.

Congrats RoDeO, what a stunning transformation since you picked it up from Carpart! Like a Phoenix from the ashes ... that's the way it's done ... and in only 18 months!

I had my doubts when you posted buying this. I shown my wife how beautiful it looks now and we both can't believe the results. Job well done.
