Hello - just wondering if there were any 993 rennlist members in Evans, or Augusta GA ?

Used to live in Augusta, but drove a Supercharged S2000 then. Many good folks down there on CSRA Motorsport Forums. Charlotte is close enough to come by as is Columbia. Lots of P-Cars in the region!

I'm over in Athens...don't get out your way so much. I was just talking with some PCA members the other evening...are you consider part of the Peachstate Region over there?

I guess since Augusta is so close to South Carolina, PCA recommended me join Carolinas region - seems to be many members in Columbia. Other region closeby is Ocmulgee (GA) region - I am just surprised no members in Augusta or Evans , GA. I have seen a few 993's around town though (maybe they were just passing thru)

Grew up in Evans, but now I'm in Jersey... I think not having a dealer has kept most people away from Porsches in Augusta.

Yeah - i heard the porsche dealer on washington st. closed 10-15 yrs ago... too bad

Evans is a nice area over there behind the Publix. I wouldn't be surprised to see some pcars in that community. Where are you having your car serviced? I've been known to follow nice cars to their home, or stop randomly if someone is parked out in the driveway--call me a stalker if you wish--but most of the time people are eager to meet another enthusiast in their area.

PS- Only do this kind of thing if you are driving your porsche too.

I live here in Augusta, Ga and yes there are some P-cars here. Since there is no dealer many of us take our cars to an Indy Shop. Rusty's Automotive has a lot of experience with P-cars and many other high end performance cars. Many times when I have went past the shop, there's something out there interesting to look at.
