Default OT ~~ HAPPY FATHERS DAY to all my 993 Renn buddies.

I hope you all have a wonderful day!

So what you doing on your special day? Pictures are welcome!

Here is my Dad waaaay back when he was in school, just a few years before he and a few of his friends stole a dingy and set off to escape to Italy. Thankfully he made it or I would no be here today.

LOVE my Dad. I've always been a Daddy's girl (can you tell??). I miss him and Mom more and more every day. After what I've been through lately and Mom and Dad too, it just makes me realize how much I love them and what they mean to me. I miss them, more than words can tell.

Thanks JoAnne. Hopefully my daughters will think as highly of me as you do of your father!! I just had one of my girls help me wash Lilly a few minutes ago. Nothing better than that!!! BTW, the girls love the new porsche pillow! Thanks!

Thanks Joanne. Today we are celebrating my young nephews birthdays and my 72 yr old fathers birthday as well as Fathers Day. My daughters will be there with their boyfriends so there won't be much attention on me which is just fine. I gotta find some time to get ready for our west coast tour in the 993 because we leave next week!

You guys are great! OF COURSE your daughters will think the world of you, heck, I am sure they already do!

CarreraX, two daughters and one pillow? I wish I could remedy that, but that was the one and only. You are lucky they aren't fighting over it. I have two brothers and lord knows we had some good fights over things we only had one of, and I am not talking about Barbie dolls!

I see a theme here so far.... only daughters?????

Why, thank you!

We spent the weekend up at our place in Blue Ridge, where I enjoyed absolutely perfect weather in the hammock surrounded by my two daughters. (In the meanwhile, my son was climbing trees in the back yard.)

This is a picture from an earlier outing, but it conveys the idea.

I am a lucky, lucky dad.

I hope everyone had a great day. I know I did. Both my kids are back from college for the summer. This was the doodle on my gift from my daughter.

My faher's day had two important events: (1) changing the oil in the 993 and (2) taking my 15 year old daughter to a deserted part of the City for her drive around a big empty parking lot and then, eventually, on the streets. In total, she got about an hour of driving time in. She was jazzed; her first time behind the wheel since she was about 10, sitting on my lap.

I'm in the 3rd year of teaching my youngest daughter (19yrs old) to drive. She wants to drive but doesn't like driving and now goes to school in another city. Its nerve racking but I'm told that it is the man's job. She will take pro lessons to but I want to know she is competent before letting her out on her own even if she is all grown up now.

Thanks Joanne. Glad that good looking dude made it! My dad came within a hair of being shot, while working with the Dutch underground during the war.

what did you do...
Went for a ride on my new motorcycle, then my wife took me out for a prime rib dinner. And she let me take the aisle seat on a flight back from Saskatchewan.

So it was a good day.
