Default Stolen 95 993 La Jolla, California

A 1995 Porsche 993 was stolen in La Jolla, California yesterday June 11, 2012. It was stolen from a quite neighborhood near Windnsea Beach. It was taken from a single family home, along with a Picasso Litho and a Glock 40 Cal. The 993 is a Cab, black on black on black. Buyers be cautious.

thankfully, it isn't mine, frankly, I am rather glad that I haven't been driving mine this week, may have been pulled over at gunpoint! Great looking car though! Phil

Sounds like they caught the d-bags! I read they'd been driving the 993, and a Cayman that was stolen. I think they found the litho, Glock, and a bunch of jewelry too.

Unfortunately, the maggots hacked up a Ford GT that they swiped from a home in RSF. The pic of the pieces was pretty sad.

On top of that, the scum filed not guilty pleas, even though they were caught with the goods. Hopefully, the two Porsches are OK, although tarnished now.

Wow ~ They were driving the cars they stole? In the same state?

Not guilty? How can that be? They were given the cars, Glock, Litho just for the heck of it?

Jerks.

At least they were found. Hope they are in good condition.

They are being held without bail for now, because.....surprise, surprise, they got popped for parole violations.

Unfortunately in California being in the stolen vehicle doesn't necessarily mean they stole it... they can claim they were borrowing the car from a friend and had no idea the car was stolen...
It's a shame the glock wasn't more useful...

I had a window broken and a stereo stolen a few years back. This happened to a few people on my street over the course of a few days. One neighbor saw the car leaving and gave the police the description. A week later the police drove down our street at night and saw a car that matched the description and sure enough there was my hand built speaker box (minus the amp/speakers) along with 2 dozen cell phones, ipods, other stereos etc. The driver and co-driver were released because the car did not belong to them they claimed they were borrowing it from a friend... it seemed ridiculous but the detective told me this was quite common and without prints or witnesses thiefs need to be caught in the act.
I got my empty speaker box back and that was the end of it.

Of course they'll plead not guilty. Attack the validity of the arrest on Fourth Amendment grounds. All flows from there. (Funny how things like parole violations come home to roost......)

"Friend" (and I'll use that term extremely loosely) was busted 2-3 years ago transporting ~15 lbs. of a controlled substance. Cost him a bundle to fight it, but they went after the traffic stop. Once that was thrown out, so was all the other evidence.

Wow. That's such an ignorant and offensive comment. Seems like it has no place on what's usually a positive forum.

Anyway, glad they caught the jerks. I was just parked in Wind'n'Sea last week!
