A recent trip to the local Von's market here near the beach in CA revealed a "real" 1958 Speedster with a nice original patina parked, top down in the lot...right near the shopping cart hopper.
My dream is a mildly rough condition early coupe to drive and enjoy. All the showpieces I see at shows probably don't see much road time.
A bent window coupe would be nice but those are few and far between. Here is my '58 coupe driver with 30 year old weather beaten paint. I can't say which Porsche I prefer to drive. A Speedster would be nice but I might struggle cruising around in a $175K+ car.

I could live with a later one but just "clean" it up a bit. Even if it was $175K I would be driving it....
