Default Please help me identify this part......>

I recently changed my pollen filters and while in there, I found one of these floating around near each hood strut. Part numbers are worn down like the face of the sphinx and have had no luck going through PET to identify.

Any help appreciated to identify what this is and where it goes. TIA

Those are the little bumpers that go on each end of the cowl seal (shown in your first photo; the rubber seal that runs atop the sheetmetal separating the cowl area from the boot). Each slips down on the sheetmetal at the edge of the cowl seal. I don't have a photo handy, but maybe someone else can chime in.

they are part of the large rubber trim near the pollen filters. if I remember they fit on either end of the trim piece the runs the width of the boot area.

you've certainly done a lot to that car - between you and Paul it has gotten lots of TLC. looks sharp

This should help. You just have to orient it correctly and it should fit on.
