Well ... when I worked as a Government Contractor .. whenever there was a big mess to clean up, which was most of the time .. we used to say:
'Chaos Creates Cash' or 'CCC' for short

Like the tribute to the military. And appropriate today -- it's the anniversary of "The Longest Day"

I started a Facebook account 2 or 3 years ago. Loaded a dozen or so pics and started accepting the typical friend requests that dribble in over time.

A few weeks ago my wife & I were spending a weekend with my sister & her husband. The conversation turned to Facebook and how all of us see it as a massive time-suck.

Before going to bed that night I deleted my account (took two weeks to take affect). It felt great.

$17 of Rennlist membership has a better ROI than a $38 IPO share of Facebook.

that's why she's referred to as my better half.

First time my uncle met her, he asked her if she had a stigmitism. I'm pretty sure I couldn't do better, but I know she could.

And God forbid anything ever did happen to my marriage, I wouldn't be selling the C4S...I'd be living in it, down by the river, making ends meet as a motivational speaker and all ya know.

Next trip thru Bart, ya gotta factor in more time for a ride/drive, and dinner.

i'm into facebook only to stay in contact with the friends I used see often. Its a useful tool to stay in touch and be linked to my old high school and colleague friends.

993 forums are much more exciting though. Id have to say that i'm online rennlist and other places looking at or learning about 993 more than FB for sure.

I am not and have never been a facebook member. We know several couples that have had issues stemming from "DivorceBook" as we call it. 2 actual divorces. I know that it isnt actually Fecebooks fault and that it takes 2 to tango etc but I really dont want the distraction. I can keep up with everone I want to keep up with using email, cell phone or taking the 993 to their house. Odds are, if I didnt like someone enough in high school to maintain the relationship until now, I really dont need to know about them now. Ok, rant over.

I'm with you on this one. Don't have to actively use it, but if you have friends and family say in other parts of the world, it sure helps to keep in touch without having to put much effort in.

Basically use it to whatever extent you want, if you don't want to hear about someone's status, put them on a block setting or delete. If you want to video chat with someone on the other side of the world, it takes one click and wow no long distance bill too!

In some ways it's just like a forum, it helps ppl connect. It's a new generation of communication and expression.
