Guys, you are making it difficult for me here. Steve buying, Joe thinks I can make it in time, and hal taking the back roads home.

We have a new grand daughter arriving in about a week a couple miles up the road. I think I would lose all my road trip points for the rest of my life.

So how was it? I got sideliend this weekend with kids, but have marked my Calendar for July's gathering.

My son and I had a great time. LOTS of Porsches of all kinds. A large contingent of 356's including a Speedster and some roadsters. A variety of 911's including GT2 and a couple of GT3's. Some RS's and several of our 993 bretheren including Steve's RUF and Nelson's silver beauty.

Canepa's shop is filled with dream cars. At least a half dozen Cobra's real and otherwise, 289 and 427. The Porsche race cars are to die for. 917, 962, 935's...

A Roller Phantom (seems like an SUV). A yellow Gallardo. A couple of NSX's. Some vintage Ferrari's and a 430 Scuderia...

Then we drove home on Hwy 9 and my son was scaring me on the twisties!

2nd Saturday in July is the 14th. Let's do a drive. A couple of years ago, GGR did a drive starting in Los Gatos up to Canepa. I can try to get the map for that, or we can do our own.
