18x11 wb offset question
I picked up some used wheels this week intended as track wheels.
great lightweight wheels unfortunately were thought to be rear 18x11 ET40, and they look to be 18x11 ET60.
I tried them on - they feel very close to the inner chassis and look too inboard of the fender. My questions: will these work as is or do I need to use a spacer to push them out some? I was hoping to avoid the hassle of a spacer when changing between track and street wheels.

If you use a 12mm spacer the outer face of the wheel will be .7mm further outboard than an oe 10ET60, that will also solve the inner wall clearance issue nicely

thanks bill. That is probably what I'll have to do. I'm a little upset that they were supposed to be ET40 and are not. I don't think I would have bought them in this offset. Not sure what to do at this point. will talk with the seller.

Just noticed a typo in my reply, it should read

Does anyone sell the bolt on type hubcentric spacer in that size (or even 15). I can not find anything online like that. Otherwise I would need to also install longer wheel bolts if using the free spacers, which I would rather not use.
