Continue to put miles on the "new" car. Any suggestions on clutch pedal engagement? Having spent years with top pivot, bottom throw pedals,
I feel like I have a stutter in my pedal engagement with the bottom pivot mechanics in the Porsche. Any tricks, suggestions?
Also, thank you for all the welcome replies to my first post. Much appreciated.

If you do a search on "clutch pedal" you will find discussions on a variety of topics related to your question. The cause can range from something as simple as a need for lubrication to mechanicals related to the clutch lever to hydraulics related to the slave cylinder and beyond.
I suggest you spend a little time looking at some of the discussions and DIYs, then start with the simplest fix and work your way in until you're satisfied. As an aside, I found that the clutch on the 993s I test drove when I was shopping for my car, including the car I purchased, all engaged very close to the top of the clutch pedal arc.
Good luck,
Terry
