The film is caused by the interior plastic off-gassing. Never knew that those pads helped with gas...

This thread went EXACTLY as I had hoped!

Being the self titled "nice guy" in High School, I never had a problem with a girlfriend leaving various bits of emergency equipment in my car. Hell, I was just happy this particular girl felt the need to mark her turf- She was in college, so I was honored. Even better when I found out it has mre than one use! (Mini Mattress or Mouse)

Ok. I have to ask. Did you tell her you cleaned your windshield with her pad before or after she put it on?

My wife doesn't use these anymore...my windows are really dirty.
Also, do the pilots among us use the pads with wings?

Sorry but you are going to have to figure out how to put the pad on yourself.

If you use a pad with wings, you can attach it to your hand and not have to worry about it slipping off and your hand smudging the glass.
