Default Turbo tail - aftermarket vs OEM

Any recommendations on who makes the best aftermarket Turbo spoiler? I think MASHAW sell theirs for around 1,100. Any thoughts on whether used OEM ones are available at this price?

I have an MA Shaw Turbo S tail, and I'm very satisfied. It was considerably less than 1/2 the price of a used, OEM tail. That said, if I had found an OEM tail that was already painted my color, that would have swung me over.

Thanks - I think they are known for their quality amongst the after market products available.

You'll find that Mike Shaw is a heck of a nice guy, and fun to talk to. Allow yourself some extra time!!!! )

<edit> You may want to start a new thread to see if anyone has a used Turbo Tail already painted your color (is your car black?). You could get lucky.

I tried a variety of them before finaly finding a used OEM tail, at a similar price to what you are quoting and in arctic silver. By the time it was all done getting the aftermarket painted, getting it painted again so it perfectly matched the arctic silver, etc I wished I'd just been pateint and waited. while not bad none of them are OEM quality. Depends on how picky you are though.

I have an aftermarket Turbo tail in my basement. I fit well...I think it's made by Shaw. If your interested, make me an offer. I'm in CT.
